Anderson & Dozier is a litigation firm. For every case, we start with an extensive interview of the potential client to learn the background facts: every detail involving who, what, where, when, why & how. We investigate the facts and circumstances and we secure key evidence (often photographs, documents, bills, statements) and determine if the potential client has a case. We help our clients maintain their lives in the difficult period of time following the loss (death or injury from a tragic event) and provide counseling, support, and guidance.
Once we accept the case, we develop the claim using our resources and expertise. During the period of time necessary to develop the case through the point of maturity, we provide the financial support for necessary expenses or medical expenses, including surgery or life care.
We file claims and lawsuits to protect our client's rights in both State & Federal Courts. The claims usually demand reimbursement for medical expenses, lost wages and loss of earnings, and general damages for the particular loss suffered by that client, such as physical pain, mental anguish, emotional distress, loss of enjoyment of life, disability, disfigurement, and consequential expenses. The spouse and/or family of the injured person may have an associated claim for his or her loss due to the changes in their own life. Once our client's medical treatment is completed, or the need for future treatment is established, we negotiate a recovery for our client that takes into account every detail of their loss and every fact or circumstance of the case. Our goal is the complete satisfaction of the client and the ultimate reward of that client's referral business.
If our client's claims are not resolved through settlement negotiations, we proceed to trial. We believe that our willingness and ability to take the case to trial is fundamental to our success and will accomplish the result our client deserves.
